IMPORTANT NEWS: JAPAN CHANGES ISOLATION PROCEDURES UPON ENTRY
From 0:00 on March 5, 2022, Japan decided to put Vietnam on the list of countries that must be isolated at a DESIGNED PLACE after entering Japan.
The reason is that Vietnam is currently a country with a widespread Omicron variant. Specific isolation requirements are as follows:
1. Person who has had all 3 injections (1st, 2nd dose of any kind, but 3rd must be Pfizer or Moderna):
=> Quarantine at home for 7 days (after 3 days with negative test results, you can stop isolation).
2. Persons who have not been vaccinated, have had less than 3 injections, or have received the 3rd dose that are not part of Pfizer or Moderna:
=> Must be isolated at a hotel or a designated place (after 3 days with a negative test result, isolation is allowed).
=> The cost of isolation, meals are completely free.
