WHAT DOES THE DOCUMENTS FOR CANADA STUDENT VISA INCLUDES?
Before you can set foot in Canada as an international student, you must be approved by the Canadian Consulate to issue a visa. Currently, Canada has two student visa programs for Vietnamese students:
Canada Student Visa Program SDS
● In the years 2016 - 2017, you have benefited from the CES visa program for students who want to replace the financial verification procedure with the Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC). However, by the middle of 2018, the CES program was stopped, instead of the Canadian study abroad program SDS (Study Direct Stream).
● Although the number of countries applying has decreased compared to CES, Vietnam is still among the 4 countries that can apply the SDS program to study in Canada. As I said above, this visa will replace financial documents with a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) worth $10,000. However, if CES only requires you to have IELTS at 5.0, with SDS you need to have a minimum IELTS of 6.0 (no skill below 6.0).

Traditional financial proof visa
With this visa, you do not have to buy a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) but you do need a strong set of financial documents. Due to the tuition fees and living costs in Canada, on average, you have to spend up to 400 million VND to 600 million VND/year. Therefore, in addition to proving that the family has enough and stable annual income, they must also have enough savings and reserves to pay for 2 to 4 years of study in Canada, depending on the program under the program. learn.
One of the conditions to study in Canada is that you must successfully apply for a Canadian student visa. Normally, a study abroad consulting company will help you complete the application process to apply for a visa, you must meet the conditions from the Canadian consulate in Vietnam. Applying for a Canadian student visa needs to meet the following basic documents:
● Financial proof, property certification
● Health Certificate
● Transcripts and commendation documents for academic achievements
● Civil status papers
● 2 passport photos taken within 6 months
● Original passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 1 blank page
● Student Visa Application Form
● Letter explaining the reason for choosing the school, study time, plan and intention of the student after completing the study
● Acceptance letter from a Canadian school (can be a vocational school, college, university or foreign language institute ...)
Passport
You will need to provide your valid passport or travel document. Your passport or travel document must be valid and allow you to return to the country where it was issued.
H&A has advice for you on preparing a passport: Passport should be valid for the same period of time as you study in Canada. Because the Consulate only issues visas with the longest duration equal to the validity of the Passport. Therefore, if your passport is not long enough, leading to the expiration of your visa and you still have a study program, you will have to apply for a student visa again before you can continue your studies.
Letter of Acceptance or LOA
If you plan to study abroad at a college, university, primary, secondary, or educational institution in Canada, that school must meet government requirements for accepting international students and send give you a letter of acceptance. An official letter of approval from the school will be included with the student visa application package.
Only a fixed list of schools regulated by the Government of Canada are allowed to accept and teach international students. These schools are collectively known as “Designated Learning Institutions” or the DLI List.

Explanatory letter
There are many different types of documents in the application for a Canadian student visa. An explanation letter is an indispensable document to help the consulate's application review staff appreciate your application.
A cover letter is a letter that outlines your study path, goals, and intentions in Canada. The explanation letter helps the consular officer understand your application. Therefore, in the application for a Canadian student visa, you should not ignore the explanation letter.

Only schools on the DLI list will be granted a Study Permit.
If you have a visa, you can enter and exit Canada legally, then when you have a Study Permit, you will be allowed to study and be recognized as residing in Canada in accordance with the law.
