GERMANY TRAINING ROAD
Referring to Germany, perhaps any student will think of the leading developed economy, developed education system with a series of famous universities. Not only that, Germany is also the leading destination suitable for Vietnamese students with a variety of vocational training programs to choose from: Nursing, Restaurant, Hotel, Chef, Construction, Mechanical ... easy conditions and still receive a salary. With such incentives, studying abroad in Germany is becoming more and more attractive, but in order to reach the German dream, students need to pay close attention to the German vocational study abroad route. Here are the contents that H&A recommends you pay attention to when studying in Germany.
CONDITIONS FOR STUDYING ABROAD IN GERMANY 2021
Conditions for vocational training in Germany are quite simple. You only need to meet the following 3 criteria:
1. The age from 18 to 30 has graduated from high school and above. Graduated from high school in Vietnam, no specific score required
2. Good health, free from hepatitis, social diseases and other infectious diseases. A medical certificate is required according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health.
3. Have an A2 foreign language certificate according to the new immigration law that will be applied from March 2020.
Having a German degree from B1 or higher, you will be trained as soon as you arrive in Germany, doing a paid internship. Exemption of financial proof of study abroad if B1. If you only have A2 German certificate, you can apply for a B1 course within 6 months in Germany. After those 6 months, you will have a B1 degree and will start to learn a trade, enjoy the regular internship salary.
4. Background: The student has a clear background, no criminal record.
Choose your career carefully
Currently, with the need for more and more scarce human resources, Vietnamese students have had more diverse opportunities in choosing careers for vocational training:
• Studying abroad for nursing
• Apprenticeship in Restaurant – Hotel – Chef
• Studying abroad in Construction
• Studying abroad for mechanical engineering
• Studying abroad for logistics and transportation
• Studying abroad for Kindergarten
Join a language course in Vietnam
• Students study for an average of 6-8 months to get A2 or B1. (With an A2 degree, you can apply for a Visa, but most schools and institutes require a minimum of B1 level).
• Students taking an intensive B2 German course in Germany (3-6 months intensive course
depending on the language level of the student).
• Along with the language learning program, students will be trained in soft skills working in Germany.
Complete the necessary documents, apply for a contract to study abroad in Germany
When you have met all the conditions for health and education, students need to start learning German. Because the time to learn a language from A1 to B1 will take a long time from 9 months to 1 year, along with the language learning process, students should not ignore:
1. Completing the necessary procedures
Submit a notarized translation dossier to register for a seat reservation at a vocational corporation in Germany with the following documents:
• Curriculum vitae
• Image
• Passport
• High school diploma (original + translation)
• College / University degree (original + translation)
• With background knowledge
• Judicial Records
• Health Certification
• Actively learn German to quickly reach German B1
• Spend 3 - 6 months to attend a background course to grasp the knowledge and theory and practice about the profession to be learned in the future.
2. Apply for a contract for studying abroad in Germany
After completing the B1 degree and background knowledge, the students will send the supplement to the corporation to apply for the Job Contract. Depending on each corporation or profession, students will be required to interview or issue a job contract. A full set of professional contracts will include:
• Letter of invitation to learn B2
• Theoretical apprenticeship contract
• Practical apprenticeship contract
• Housing contract during B2 language study
• Housing contract during the apprenticeship period
• Insurance while studying B2
• Insurance during apprenticeship
• ZAV (Federal Employment Agency Employment Center)
Proof of finance to study abroad in Germany
Financial proof is one of the problems that many parents and students worry about because they are afraid of complicated financial verification procedures and difficult document requirements. However, unlike countries like the UK, Australia, USA, Canada, you will have to prove your finances by income, when studying abroad in Germany, you only need to prove your financial ability for the time to study 853 languages. Euro/month and during the apprenticeship the salary is 929 Euro/month.
You can choose between opening an escrow account at VietinBank or Deutsche Bank) or opening a bank guarantee with annual renewal at a credit institution within the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Apply for a Visa to the German Embassy
All visa documents will be submitted at the German Embassy in Hanoi or the German Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.
AFTER APPLYING FOR A VISA, IN GERMANY
Participating in a 3-year training program:
• Students start a 3-year program consisting of 2100 hours of theory + 2500 hours of practice (45% theory, 55% practice).
• Courses (depending on the city) usually start on 01.03, 01.04, 01.09, 01.10 every year.
After graduation:
• Receive a certificate of vocational training recognized throughout Germany and Europe
• Get support to find a job at a practice facility
• After 3 years of working, you have the right to apply for a permanent residence in Germany
